About Hapopo Rimu Rimu

Hapopo Rimu Rimu is a distinctively patterned variety of West Coast Pounamu. In everyday light the body reads as a deep, olive-green, marked through with a fine honeycomb texture. Held up to the light, that texture comes fully alive — a warm red glowing through the honeycomb lattice within the stone. That depth, hidden until the light catches it, is what gives every piece its individual character, and no two are ever the same.

About the Toki

The Toki is a traditional Māori design representing strength, courage, determination, and resilience. Inspired by the adze used by Māori ancestors, it symbolises the ability to overcome challenges, move forward with purpose, and achieve success through perseverance.

Please Note

The translucency you see in the back-lit photo will vary depending on the colour of the light behind the stone. Warmer light (around 3000K) will bring out any reddish tones within the stone, while cooler light (around 6000K) will make the same piece look predominantly green. Held up to natural daylight, a lamp, or a phone torch, the same pendant can look noticeably different.
